Investigations began back in April 2020 which involved the investigation of approximately 3.8 million documents. It has been confirmed that 186,000 customers personal information had been leaked in which 47 employees had their emails had been compromised.
The data included such things like forms, scans and records of transaction applications. All customers that have been identified “at risk” will be notified by mail.
The NSW Police and the Department are investigating this matter further and working with Cyber Security NSW and the Information and Privacy Commissioner.
